We signed up for an account, providing bank statements etc. We were easily approved.
Pay Anywhere sent us their card reader, we ran a ‘test’ transaction of three cents. It processed quickly and successfully.
When it came time for us to process a real transaction in the amount of $6500, the transaction was processed by Pay Anywhere – the customer’s credit card was charged. The customer and ourselves where sent a confirmation receipt from the Pay Anywhere system.

I have been checking on mobile & pay as you go credit card readers & companies. Blue Pay offers 2.69% + $.10 transaction fee for both swiped and keyed transactions. I have just learned as well that most companies charge more for non qualified cards (ie, cards that earn rewards for the cosumer but cost the merchant...lol). Blue Pay's rate is an additional 1% surcharge.

We have a few accounts with different It really depends on the business and level of service required (Intuit didn't offer us that good of support) we tried some others by RoamData (Total merchant services www.worldwidetms.com) great low rates and service for $10 a month (1 device). But if you want inventory, customer database, email / text message marketing you have to look at another provider. If anyone wants info please feel free to contact me.

SQUARE BEWARE!
Things were going ok with Square until I needed support. No phone number, slow response through email.
Let me tell you what they did.
I ran a transaction through SquareUp for $1800.00, I waited and waited for my money after finally realizing that they were not going to pay me my $1800 for an entire MONTH!
So I naturally cancelled the transaction and refunded the client, but guess what, they took the money out of my bank account to refund the client until the 30 days was up.
So now I am negative $3600 on my account. UNBELIEVABLE!
I thought this was due to a large transaction, well after reading another post, the $300 payment I just ran through them, the same thing. 30 days before I get my money. WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I have found a great solution for my 'home party' style business. I use mobile payments with Axxess Payments and I have been able to increase my sales. My customers don't always bring enough cash with them to the parties and they often prefer to use credit or debit cards because it's easier to keep track of their purchases. I was reluctant at first, figuring that I would not be able to find a company to process my transactions because I'm such a small business. It works great! I'm very happy, customer service is always there if I need them and I have not had any issues.
