Twinfield’s version 7 includes significant workflow and efficiency improvements
Twinfield, Wolters Kluwer’s online accounting business, today announces the launch of Twinfield NEO, the latest version of its online accounting solution.
Twinfield NEO incorporates a significant number of upgrades: in addition to a completely new interface, which substantially changes Twinfield’s look and feel, the software is now built on the latest state-of-the-art programming techniques.
Twinfield NEO has laid the foundations for significant future growth. In changing the architecture of its online software, Twinfield is now in a unique position to readily roll out innovative new features and functionality in the future.
André Kwakernaat, CEO and founder of Twinfield, says: “We are justifiably very proud of the seventh version of the software. In 2000, Twinfield became the first online accounting solution available and we have continued to innovate and reinvent ourselves.
“The latest offering includes smart functionality that enables easier and closer collaboration between the accountant and entrepreneur, clever menus that appear when you need them, an application that is just a single page, and notifications.”
This latest piece of functionality is one of the USPs of Twinfield NEO: whenever there are tasks in the system, the software will automatically push them to the relevant user. “We call this ‘from searching to finding’,” Kwakernaat says.
Another important new feature is the ‘audit trail’. Theo Reijnders, Twinfield’s head of marketing in the Netherlands, says: “This is something our clients frequently request. The audit trail will enable clients to see who has completed which action, at client and administration level. This is also a requirement for the Secure-Online accreditation, something Twinfield expects to achieve in the near future.”
Twinfield’s clients have been extensively involved in the development of the new software.
